Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We made a reservation for a date night tonight. The food, drinks and service were all excellent. We were well taken care of by Jesus, who made great suggestions from beginning to end. I'm thankful that he made our night perfect (as well as the barkeeps and chefs). I highly recommend and I'm pretty spoiled living most of the year in New Orleans. Barranquilla is a great food city as well! Even the owner was in the restaurant, making sure folks were happy. Gracias, Jesus!"
"I am visiting from Weston, FL. Stopped by Palo De Mango had the best VIP experience. We had the opportunity to meet one of the owners Alex Quessep and had an excellent time. Will come back and refer clients. Must try the shrimp cones and best mango juice in Barranquilla. Thanks again! Michael Banko"
"Service was great and so was food. What I liked was the atmosphere, quiet and you can actually have a conversation. Lots of cocktails and custom drinks, good menu of steak and fish. Server was on top of everything and not super expensive either. Good place for a great dinner."
"I was having lunch with a friend and my mom at Palo de Mango, our time there was amazing, our waitress was awesome, Any was always aware of everything that we need, food was delicious, drinks, atmosphere and everything else.... 100% recommended... Ask for Any she's the best Lomo Costeña Salmon con miel de Maracuya Arroz de Mariscos"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Palo de Mango is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed, with a touch of elegance that makes it perfect for any occasion. The food is simply amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, combining local ingredients with creative touches that make each bite unforgettable. The menu has a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. This is one of those places where you want to come back again and again. Highly recommended for food lovers!"
"The best meals I had in Barranquilla were at Palo de Mango. Healthy, fresh, plant forward. Many options! Wonderful service. Indoors in Barranquilla always very cold with AC so bring a jacket ;)"
"The place is really nice and the service also. Eveyone was friendly. Good food and prices for such a place. The chef came to greed us. I order ravioli in a costeno cheese sauce which was really nice. The ravioli had some popocorn on top. I think the plate would have been better with out it. The other dishes ( paella, carne and salmon with maracuya saus) where not that special. The paella had a very thin layer of rice. We also order pulpo for the entrance and chicharon. The pulpo was a bit overcooked but overall it was nice."
"Great food and great place. Love the ambiance and service is outstanding. Delicious drinks. Wonderfull place to celebrate with your friends and family."
